KHT ‘s Deworming Project is back for its 2nd year. Thanks to the generous donation of Mr R Sodhia, KHT has been able to provide 6 schools with deworming medication to so they can protect their students from parasitic infections such as roundworm, pinworms and threadworms. These are common in young children and can impact their overall health, growth and their ability to concentrate in school.
KHT visited two schools to see them carry out the first day of the project.
Thank you to Ban Huy San School and Ban Mae Ki School for participating, and many thanks to the teachers and parents for supporting the initiative. The children did an amazing job of taking the medication, even though they were all very young.
They will take the pills every day for 3 days and then repeat this cycle in 6 months to ensure protection for 1 year. There are many schools keen to also introduce deworming, and you can help us reach them by donating today!
